NFL Mock Draft: Could Justin Blackmon Fall To The Arizona Cardinals

With draft projections already coming in a steady stream, the Arizona Cardinals have consistently been connected to the offensive line talent in this year's NFL Draft. Whether it is Jonathan Martin, Mike Adams or David DeCastro, they all are expected to be possible targets for the Cardinals and their number 13 pick in the draft.

The most recent mock draft predictions at Revenge of the Birds has a surprise player falling all the way to the Cardinals.

In these projections, standout receiver Justin Blackmon falls to the Cards at number 13:

Finally, the fall of Blackmon comes to an end. All four top 15 lineman have been selected, but the Cardinals still fill a need and fit Whisenhunt`s BPA draft philosophy. Blackmon is an great athlete by nearly every measurable and will rekindle memories of Fitzgerald and Boldin lining up with each other. Blackmon`s stock has been falling slightly, but is still a top 15 talent easily. Previous pick: Riley Rieff, OT, Iowa.

It seems doubtful he would fall that far, but with a player of his talent opposite Larry Fitzgerald, it potentially could give the team the same sort of elite threats at receiver like when both Fitz and Anquan Boldin were terrorizing secondaries.
