While Kevin Kolb's listing as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report appears to be a positive sign for his recovery, he told the Arizona Cardinal's website that he has "hit a wall" in his rehab. An MRI revealed that there is still swelling in his ribs, which are not yet healed from a hit he took against the Buffalo Bills in October.
Kolb added that it's a matter of functionality more than pain tolerance.
Meanwhile, receiver Andre Roberts and defensive end Ronald Talley were the players who sat out of Wednesday's practice. Roberts, the team's second-leading receiver, and Talley, a second-year player out of Delaware, are dealing with ankle injuries.
Defensive end Calais Campbell (calf), receiver Early Doucet (ribs), safety Kerry Rhodes (quadriceps), linebacker Reggie Walker (knee) and running back Beanie Wells (knee) were limited.
Safety Justin Bethel (shoulder), longsnapper Mike Leach (back) and linebacker Paris Lenon (shoulder) appeared on the injury report as full participants.
