Arizona Cardinals' defensive tackle Darnell Dockett has been known to be outspoken and on Friday he took to twitter to express his frustration with the Cardinals' disappointing season. "I'm glad this season is damn near over," Dockett tweeted Friday afternoon.
"I wanna hit the reset button like on like madden and start over," he added in the same tweet.
After starting the season 4-0, the Cardinals lost nine-consecutive games and are now 5-10 on the year. The defense has been a strong point for Arizona throughout most of the season.
Dockett is in his ninth season with the Cardinals, having spent his entire career with the franchise after being a third-round pick out of Florida State in the 2004 draft.
In 2012, Dockett has recorded 34 combined tackles and 1.5 sacks. Those numbers are down from past seasons when the Pro-Bowl DT has averaged more than 50 tackles over the last three years. Dockett's best year came in 2007 when he notched 58 tackles and nine sacks.
The Cardinals close out the season on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Kickoff from Candlestick Park is scheduled for 2:25 p.m. MT.
