Ken Whisenhunt won't discuss possible staff changes

Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt is refusing to discuss potential changes to the staff.

How do the Arizona Cardinals avoid falling apart? Head coach Ken Whisenhunt talked about the issue during his latest press conference. Darren Urban has more on the subject.

Whisenhunt seemed to reiterate that he wasn't that all concerned that he might lose his job. Despite losing nine games in a row after a four win start, Whisenhunt seemed fairly calm. Michael Bidwell and Whisenhunt seem to be in constant communication, but there haven not been any discussions about what the future might hold.

Whisenhunt also refused to make any public comments on the coaching staff, leaving the door open that changes could be on the way this offseason if he is left in charge. Whisenhunt publicly feels that talking about the team's job status is disrespectful to those currently working in the program.

"Out of respect to our players and coaches, they are all working hard," Whisenhunt said. "It is easy to say, ‘Do this’ or ‘Do that.’ The number of hours these guys put in, it is unfair to them (to talk about it). … I don’t think that’s appropriate to talk about here."

Whisenhunt also was evasive on whether Kevin Kolb's season is over, and that the team would have to evaluate all options at quarterback.
