Kurt Warner: Combination of losses, lack of touches frustrating Larry Fitzgerald

It has been another challenging year for Larry Fitzgerald.

After winning four straight games to start the season, the Arizona Cardinals have yet to win another game. The losses and the revolving door at quarterback have started to wear on Larry Fitzgerald, according to his former quarterback Kurt Warner.

"I think any great player wants the ball in their hands as much as they possibly can," Warner told Arizona Sports 620's Burns and Gambo Friday. "Yeah, I don't think there's any question Larry is used to having more success."

Fitzgerald is putting up respectable numbers this year with 627 receiving yards and four touchdowns, but he has had trouble getting the ball in recent weeks. In Arizona's last two games, he has just four catches for 44 yards.

The star wide receiver prospered with Warner under center from 2007-2009. He put up monster numbers of 293 catches for 3,932 yards and 35 touchdowns.

Even with Warner gone, Fitzgerald still had big seasons. A year ago he had 1,411 receiving yards.

He is currently signed with Arizona through 2018.
