Arizona Cardinals pass rusher O'Brien Schofield tweeted that he will be receiving an MRI Monday on the left ankle sprain that forced him out of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers early in the first half.
Thank u sooo much Cardinal fans and all who checked up on me. I'm ok, get an MRI tomorrow. Thinking its an ankle sprain. To God be the glory

The injury occurred when defensive tackle Darnell Dockett fell on Schofield after being knocked down on a block. Schofield remined on the ground for a bit as he rolled around in pain before heading to the locker room. He did not return to the game.
Schofield and the Cardinals may have dodged a bullet with this one as some thought that it might have been an injury to his left knee, the same knee that he tore his ACL in back in the Senior Bowl. Arizona also has the luxury of a bye to allow Schofield (34 tackles, four sacks) to properly rest up.
At this point, the Cardinals are just hoping this sprain isn't of the high ankle variety or they could be without Schofield's services for a few weeks after the bye. Arizona can ill afford to lose an edge rusher like Schofield for any amount of time too with the team in the midst of a five-game losing streak and set to face an explosive Atlanta Falcons passing attack out of their bye.
