Arizona Cardinals injury report: WR Andre Roberts misses practice

The Arizona Cardinals listed only receiver Andre Roberts as missing practice, but a number of starters were limited on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Andre Roberts missed Wednesday's practice because of an ankle injury, and the Arizona Cardinals listed seven other players as limited.

Roberts was Arizona's leading receiver in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the St. Louis Rams. He caught nine passes for 92 yards and now sits ahead of Larry Fitzgerald as the team's receiving leader this season. Roberts has 639 yards on 50 catches to Fitzgerald's 627 yards on 55 catches.

The limited participation list includes quarterback Kevin Kolb (ribs), running back Beanie Wells (knee), defensive end Calais Campbell (calf), receiver Early Doucet (ribs), running back William Powell (shoulder), wide receiver LaRon Byrd (head), and safety Justin Bethel (shoulder).

Campbell missed Sunday's loss to the Rams but is likely to return this week against the New York Jets.

Wells made his return this week and rushed 17 times for 48 yards and two touchdowns after sitting out with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Kolb has returned to practice and said his rib injury is feeling better, yet the former starting quarterback didn't but a timetable on his return.
