Arizona Cardinals RB La'Rod Stephens-Howling (ribs) was listed as questionable Friday following his week of limited practice participation.
Stephens-Howling was expected to remain big part of the backfield as the team slowly works RB Beanie Wells into a rhythm after his toe injury but now it's looking like neither gentlemen will be a good bet for a solid workload this Sunday. Third stringer William Powell (shoulder) was listed as probable after getting a couple full practices in this week so it's possible he could see an uptick in carries as the team's freshest back.
Stephens-Howling has done a very respectable job in Wells' place over the past couple of weeks, compiling 310 yards and three touchdowns while carrying most of the load. For comparison's sake, Wells was struggling mightily before being sent to I.R. with the designated to return tag, totaling just 76 yards on his first 29 carries.
In other injury news, QB Kevin Kolb (ribs), WR Early Doucet (ribs) and DE Calais Campbell (calf) were also all listed as questionable. Campbell, along with TE Todd Heap (knee) both have good chances of making it back on the field this Sunday but neither's return has been confirmed like Wells'.
