3 Arizona Cardinals among top in Pro Bowl voting

Larry Fitzgerald, Patrick Peterson and Daryl Washington are challenging for Pro Bowl spots.

Three Arizona Cardinals are in the top-five of the most recent Pro Bowl ballot totals. Receiver Larry Fitzgerald, cornerback Patrick Peterson and linebacker Daryl Washington could use big second halves of the season to stamp their spots on the NFC roster.

Fitzgerald oddly has the most work to do. He has 51 catches for 585 yards and four touchdowns, but only has 105,743 votes, putting him fifth in the NFC at receiver. He sits behind the New York Giants' Victor Cruz (257,016), Chicago's Brandon Marshall (153,574), Minnesota's Percy Harvin (144,978) and Detroit's Calvin Johnson (118,454).

Washington comes in second at the inside linebacker spot behind the San Francisco 49ers' Patrick Willis. The Cardinal has obtained 69,757 votes to Willis' 91,609. Fellow 49er NoVarro Bowman trails Washington by only 2,733 votes.

Fourth among NFC cornerbacks is Peterson, who has garnered 57.537 votes. He is behind Chicago's Tim Jennings and Charles Tillman as well as St. Louis' Cortland Finnegan.
