The Arizona Cardinals reportedly tried out former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Marcus Harrison, according to a report from Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun.
The 28-year-old Harrison spent three seasons as a member of the Bears and amassed 55 tackles and three sacks. The third-round draft pick out of Arkansas played in all 16 games for the team in both 2008 and 2009, but only made an appearance in just five games for Chicago in 2010.
In September of 2011, Harrison was signed by the Carolina Panthers, but failed his physical and was immediately placed back on waivers. A month later, the defensive tackle was signed by the New England Patriots but was released a day later.
The team could be looking to add depth as the Cardinals' defensive line could be without defensive end Calais Campbell on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. The 26-year-old has been bothered by a calf injury that kept him out of practice on Wednesday.
