Not even a bye week could keep the Arizona Cardinals from slipping in most NFL Power Rankings.
Arizona (4-5) has lost five consecutive games following an improbable 4-0 start to the 2012 season. The Cardinals slipped two spots to No. 22 in ESPN's Power Rankings for Week 11 and were leapfrogged by the New Orleans Saints and the Cincinnati Bengals. The team stayed put at No. 20 in NFL.com's Power Rankings, but NFL analyst Elliot Harrison notes that the Arizona "Diamondbacks have won more recently than the Cardinals". Ouch.
SB Nation's own Joel Thorman has the Cardinals slotted at No. 23 in his Week 11 Power Rankings, down three spots from last week.
The Cardinals quest to put an end to their current five-game skid won't get any easier as they head to Atlanta to take on the 8-1 Falcons. Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m. PT at the Georgia Dome and the game will be televised on FOX.
