The San Francisco 49ers are relatively healthy in advance of their Monday Night Football game against the Cardinals, but left tackle Joe Staley did miss practice due to an illness on Thursday.
Staley was limited in practice last week due to a concussion, but played against Seattle. He has started the last 23 regular season games for San Francisco and would be a major loss to the 49ers' offensive line if he is unable to recover in time for Monday's game.
While the 49ers were without Staley on Thursday, every other player was a full participant in practice. That included Frank Gore who suffered bruised ribs last week. Gore said the injury was the most pain he's played through and he was forced to sleep sitting up following the game.
In addition to Gore, wide receiver Mario Manningham, quarterback Alex Smith and linebacker Tavares Gooden all practiced despite previous ailments. The 49ers' complete injury report can be found on 49ers.com.
