Week 8 NFL picks: 49ers vs. Cardinals

At 4-3 and trailing the San Francisco 49ers by just one game in the NFC West, the Arizona Cardinals will be playing for the division lead on Monday. While the Cardinals could take over the NFC West lead with a win, not many NFL experts are predicting Arizona to win.

Of the nine ESPN NFL analysts who have submitted their prediction this week, none are picking the Cardinals to win. That is a bit of a trend as all 11 ESPN analysts picked against Arizona last week as well. Yahoo! Sports' three NFL experts joined the ESPN experts in unanimously picking San Francisco. Arizona has been the favorite among the Yahoo! analysts in just three of eight weeks this season.

When picking straight up, the eight NFL experts from CBS Sports also unanimously went with the 49ers. However, when picking against the spread, the Cardinals are favored. The 49ers are 7-1/2 point favorites and with that in play, five of the eight CBS Sports analysts picked Arizona.

San Francisco has won seven of the last 10 meetings between the teams, including five of the last six.
