NFL injury report: Cardinals RG Adam Snyder leaves Sunday's game with quad contusion

Cardinals offensive lineman Adam Snyder left Sunday's game with some quad bruising and did not return.

Arizona Cardinals right guard Adam Snyder left Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings with a left quad contusion and did not return.

Backup Rich Ohrnberger replaced him in the lineup after he departed and did an adequate enough job, helping LaRod Stephens-Howling set a new career-high in rushing yards (104 yards, 20 carries).

The Cardinals' offensive line was already one of the most beat up in the league entering the game and this surely won't help. From a glass-half-full perspective though, head coach Ken Whisenhunt didn't address the injury in his post game comments so it might not be too severe.

The Cardinals still have two more games before the bye but have an extra day of rest this week as they're set to play the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. Arizona worked out free agent tackle Chris Williams earlier in the week and he could be another possibility to replace Snyder if his absence will be long. Williams made 20 of his 38 career starts for the Chicago Bears at left guard.
