NFL Mock Draft 2012: Arizona Cardinals May Select OT Brandon Mosley Of Auburn In Third Round

The 2012 NFL Draft is rapidly approaching and the speculation and analysis continues to swirl. An intriguing development for the Arizona Cardinals popped up recently concerning the team's third round selection.

Recently, mock draft website DraftTek posited that the Cardinals would select offensive tackle Mike Adams in the first round. Although the Cardinals will not have a pick in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, mock draft website Walter Football believes that the Cardinals might seek out another offensive tackle with their third round selection, which would be the No. 81 overall pick. Specifically, Walter Football believes that OT Brandon Mosley of the Auburn Tigers would be the target at that point. Here's what they have to say:

There's a strong possibility that the Cardinals could double dip at offensive tackle in the first few rounds. That's how dire the situation is at that position.

It would certainly be interesting if the Cardinals spent their first two draft picks picking up two offensive tackles, but this is an offensive line in Arizona that is in desperate need of reinforcements.

Mosley is 6'5" and weighs 305 lbs. Mocking the Draft has him ranked as their No. 15 offensive tackle in this year's NFL Draft. Keep in mind, there are an astounding amount of NFL teams who will need assistance at that position in the coming year.
