Cardinals Vs. Seahawks Score Update: Arizona Takes Early Lead In Battle For .500

The Arizona Cardinals did something they've not done too many times this season, they moved the ball and took a lead in the first quarter of a game. Thanks to a career-high 39-yard run from RB LaRod Stephens-Howling, Arizona moved the ball deep into Seattle Seahawk territory and punched it in on the goal line with a Chester Taylor dive.

The touchdown was the first for the Cardinals in the first quarter since Week 2 and gave Arizona a 7-0 lead heading into the second quarter. The Cardinals defense held Seattle to just 65 yards in the first quarter.

Cardinals QB John Skelton had his typical slow start but didn't turn the ball over. He went 2-6 for 32 yards. The Seahawks Tavaris Jackson went 7-10 for 34 yards on mostly short passes and two long bombs that were overthrown.

Both Arizona and Seattle are fighting to finish their seasons with a .500 record and bragging rights as the second-best team in the NFC West.
