Cardinals Vs. Seahawks Score Update: Arizona Trails 3-0 After First Quarter

The Arizona Cardinals trail the Seattle Seahawks 3-0 after the first quarter of play. Both teams have had trouble moving the ball, but the Seahawks managed a field goal to grab an early lead.

The two teams went scoreless over the game's first two possessions as both offenses started teams began settling into the game. Quarterback Kevin Kolb threw a tipped interception on Arizona's second play from scrimmage, but an unnecessary roughness penalty on Seattle negated the pick. The drive ended on a 51-yard Jay Feely field goal attempt, which missed wide left.

The Seahawks managed to connect on a 30-yard field goal attempt by Steven Hauschka to give them a 3-0 edge. The Cardinals are currently driving with the ball and will look to score early in the second quarter.

Things have been testy between the two sides in the early going. Tight end Todd Heap took a huge hit in the game's opening minutes by Seahawk Cam Chancellor. Don't expect much friendly play between these two sides over the following three quarters.
