Cardinals Sign Safety Mark LeGree To Practice Squad

Looking to add some possible depth to their secondary later on down the line, the Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that they have signed rookie safety Mark LeGree to their practice squad.

The 6 foot, 211 pounder was drafted in 2011 by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round, spending the entirety of the preseason with them before being cut as the regular season began. A graduate of Appalachian State, LeGree started 39 out of the 53 games he played in for the Mountaineers, racking up some impressive stats along the way with 198 tackles and 22 interceptions in four season down in Boone, North Carolina. He started 12 games as a senior in 2010, leading the team with five interceptions and 49 tackles along the way.
