Cardinals vs. Redskins: After Three Quarters, Arizona Leads 14-10

Beanie Wells wasn't about to be outclassed by his former teammate.

After a first half dominated by former Arizona Cardinals running back Tim Hightower, Wells returned the favor in the third quarter with 84 yards on the ground, including a two-yard touchdown run that gave Arizona a 14-10 lead over the Washington Redskins in week two NFL action.

Kevin Kolb continues to struggle, completing only 15 of 26 pass attempts for 166 yards. Larry Fitzgerald got into the action in the third quarter, and now has 60 yards on six catches.

The Cardinals have looked undisciplined, much like Arizona State against Illinois yesterday. Through three quarters, Arizona has nine penalties for 92 yards, while Washington has only committed two penalties for ten yards.

Despite an inexperienced duo of cornerbacks, the Cardinals have still held Redskins quarterback Rex Grossman to limited success. Stewart Bradley, Kerry Rhodes and Paris Lenon all have five tackles through three quarters.
