The Washington Redskins and Rex Grossman looked very solid during the first week of NFL action, but now face a Arizona Cardinals team that is hungry after barely taking care of the Panthers last week. Arizona will be without a couple of key play makers this Sunday though as linebacker Daryl Washington and running back LaRod Stephens-Howling will both be inactive according to the Arizona Republic's Kent Somers, as well as a few others.
Quarterback John Skelton, cornerbacks Crezdon Butler and Korey Lindsey, offensive tackle D'Anthony Batiste, and tight end Jim Dray will also all join them on the inactive list this afternoon, leaving some glaring spaces left open in their secondary. Arizona's reserves will have to step in and take care of business in their absence, as Rex Grossman was looking more like the Rex of 2006 than anything of late last week against the Giants last week.
LaRon Landry will be the only inactive starter for Washington this afternoon.
