The Arizona Cardinals have issued a press release that has announced the team has signed five of their draft picks. Patrick Peterson remains unsigned.
The Cardinals have signed Texas linebacker Sam Acho (4th round, 103rd overall), Connecticut fullback Anthony Sherman (5th round, 136th overall), North Carolina linebacker Quan Sturdivant (6th round, 171st overall), UCLA defensive tackle David Carter (6th round. 184th overall) and San Diego State wide receiver DeMarco Sampson (7th round, 249th overall). All picks were signed to four-year deals.
Patrick Peterson remains the most important draft pick to sign but as of now there has been no reports of an agreement.
As for the signees, Sam Acho and Quan Sturdivant are two exciting linebacker prospects that will be fighting for playing time this season. Anthony Sherman has potential to get some playing time as well at fullback. DT David Carter will look to become a part of the defensive line rotation and DeMarco Sampson will have to prove he's got the tools to see the field.
