Peyton Hillis: Madden 2012 Coverboy, Defeating Vick In Finals

Peyton Hillis is going to be on the cover of Madden 2012 after upsetting Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick in the finals of the fan voting on Wednesday.

Hillis, who had a breakout season in 2010 while playing for the Cleveland Browns, was able to finish strong in the fan voting against convicted dog abuser Vick. This victory is for ‘dawgs everywhere, Browns fans included.

Like I said before, Hillis finished strong in this competition. This is at odds with his performance in the waning weeks of the 2010 season, when his mediocre rushing performances doomed many fantasy teams that relied on his consistent production.

Either way, all jokes and slights aside, this guy has come a long way since being the fullback at Arkansas for Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. After showing flashes of brilliance in Denver for the Broncos, coach Josh McDaniels obviously had to get rid of him.

Hillis goes into 2011 as a top-ranked running back, and will be highly sought after on draft day in your fantasy leagues if there is an NFL season to watch.
