2011 SBNAZ NFL Mock Draft: With The 4th Pick, The Bengals Select...

After today, four picks will be in the books. The Cincinnati Bengals have some needs. The most notable could be quarterback as Carson Palmer has threatened to retire if he is not moved to another team. However, both of the top quarterbacks are already off the board. Still available is the highly rated Patrick Peterson, the cornerback out of LSU. Likewise, there is a lot of defensive talent available, whether it be Marcell Dareus, Nick Fairley or Da'Quan Bowers.

Today's pick is projected by Jess Root for the Bengals. Here it is:

A.J. Green, WR, Georgia

This was a tough decision. Terrell Owens is out the door. Chad Ochocinco is off playing soccer. Carson Palmer might be leaving. Ultimately, the Bengals need some firepower and Green is just the guy to do it. He has size and speed (6-4, 211 lbs with a 4.48 4-yard dash). He a playmaker and the Bengals need plays made. In the end, he might be the deciding factor in swaying Palmer to change face and come play for Cincinnati for another year.

For tomorrow...your Arizona Cardinals and Cory Williams are on the clock.
