Arizona Cardinals Host NFC West Champion San Francisco 49ers

The Arizona Cardinals host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in a Week 14 duel between these NFC West rivals. The Niners have already clinched the division and have won the last five meetings between the two teams.

The Arizona Cardinals seem to have overcome their slow start to the season and won four of their last five games pushing their record to 5-7 with four games left on the schedule. The one loss was to this week's opponents, the surprising San Francisco 49ers (10-2).

The Cardinals played the Niners on the road three weeks ago and fell 23-7 in a game started by John Skelton that featured five Arizona turnovers. Considered those five turnovers, the Cardinals defense did well to keep the Niners from putting big points on the board.

This week, with a healthy Kevin Kolb, the Cardinals will hope to put more pressure on the Niners great defense and at least not gift them any extra possessions.

The game is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. local time start with TV coverage on Fox. Dick Stockton and John Lynch will be in the booth with Jennifer Hale on the sideline. Arizona Sports 620 will have the radio call with Dave Pasch and Ron Wolfley on the mic.

The Cardinals have a franchise record of 16-24 against the Nines and are 8-10 at home. The Niners have won the last five meetings between the NFC West rivals.
