Cardinals Vs. Bengals: John Skelton Starts In Place Of Kevin Kolb Again

The Arizona Cardinals will be without their starting quarterback for the sixth time this season as John Skelton once again gets the start over an injured Kevin Kolb. Kolb missed four games this season with a foot injury and will miss his second-straight game due to a concussion.

Kolb has started nine games but really only played in eight after getting knocked off the field on the first offensive possession against the San Francisco 49ers. Kolb has a QB rating of 81.1 in his games but he also presided over the Cardinals 1-6 start to the season.

Skelton will start his fifth game of the season but played all but three snaps of a sixth game. His QB rating is 69.8 with the Cardinals winning five of six games with the Fordham grad.

During Kolb's first seven starts the Cardinals defense allowed 26 points per game and scored 20 per game. Since that point with mostly Skelton under center, the defense allowed 17 points per game and the Cardinals averaged 19 points on offense.

Other inactives for the Cardinals against the Bengals include: WR Stephen Williams, S Sean Considine, LB Brandon Williams, OT Brandon Keith, WR Jaymar Johnson, WR DeMarco Sampson.
