John Skelton Hits Early Doucet In Stride For Touchdown [Video]

John Skelton has not looked great in his starts for the Arizona Cardinals. He's overthrown open receivers and recorded seven interceptions in four games as the back up to Kevin Kolb. Skelton, however, looked fantastic on this throw to WR Early Doucet in the first half of the Cardinals game against the San Francisco 49ers.

On 1st and 10 with the Cardinals down 6-0, Skelton dropped back and had plenty of time to find Doucet streaking up the middle of the field. The 60-yard touchdown plays was aided by a vicious block delivered by Larry Fitzgerald on 49ers CB Tarrel Brown.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt has said on numerous occasions that Skelton throws the ball extremely well when his feet are set and his mechanics are right. That was clearly the case on this play.
