The Arizona Cardinals are in a deep hole in the NFC West. And even though they have twelve games left, they've been placed in a precarious position to try and come back win the division.

Here are the current standings in the NFC West.

San Francisco: 3-1, 1-0 in the division, 2-1 in the conference
Seattle: 1-3, 1-1 in the division, 1-2 in the conference
Arizona: 1-3, 0-1 in the division, 1-3 in the conference
St. Louis: 0-4, 0-0 in the division, 0-3 in the conference

The Cardinals are now in third place behind the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks, and they're already an additional game back on the Seahawks after losing their head-to-head matchup. Arizona isn't in the danger zone yet, but they have to stop being involved in heartbreaking defeats and transition over to stirring victories.

Oh well. At least they're not the Rams.
