Wondering what to watch in the early game slot or during the commercials of the Cardinals game? Look no further, and big thanks to the506. Here's the big games of the day for your Sunday football TV schedule.
↵10 AM PT/1 PM ET, FOX: Atlanta Falcons @ Detroit Lions - Sam Rosen, Brian Billick: This is probably the NFL's game of the week, especially when you look at what's on the Sunday Night and Monday Night Schedule (trust me, you don't even want to look). Two high-powered NFC teams square off at Ford Field, where the Lions will look to bounce back from last week's loss to the streaking 49ers. I personally live in Seattle, and I'm more than a little bummed I won't get to watch this one live.
↵1:15 PM PT/4:15 PM ET, FOX: Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings - Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman: The Packers are pretty good, I'm not sure if you've heard. The Vikings aren't quite as good, probably. Minnesota will be led by a rookie named Christian Ponder in his first NFL start. The team they're facing is led by a guy who's probably the best young QB in the world, Aaron Rodgers. But you know what? It's the NFL, and the phrase 'Any Given Sunday' isn't just a reference to a crappy movie with Jamie Foxx.
↵1:15 PM PT/4:15 PM ET, CBS: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Arizona Cardinals - Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf: The Cardinals look to get back on the right track but will face a stiff test from the Steelers. Guess what? We've written a little bit about this game. Check out our StoryStream here.
