As Adrian Peterson rumbled for his coming out performance of the season, it prompted the world of Power Rankings to continue to demote the Arizona Cardinals, further solidifying their place at the bottom of the rankings.
ESPN released its week 6 Power Rankings today and the Cardinals dropped five spots from no. 23 to no. 28, after losing to the Vikings, 34-10, behind Peterson's three touchdowns.
New starting quarterback Kevin Kolb hasn't proven to be the answer at quarterback yet as he threw for only 232 yards and two interceptions in the loss.
CBS Sportsline dropped the Cardinals from no. 26 to no. 28 as it didn't have as much room to go as ESPN did. But both sites mentioned Kolb as a primary concern for the team moving forward.
SBNation was a little less harsh with a drop from no. 24 to no. 25, but they too expressed concern over Kolb.
So what have we learned? Seems like a consensus that the Cardinals are headed in the wrong direction.
