Arizona Cardinals Injury Report, Week 16: Joey Porter May Play, LaRod Stephens-Howling Doubtful

On the eve of the Week 16 matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas night, there is some optimism about the availability of linebacker Joey Porter. The triceps injury he suffered against the Carolina Panthers was not as serious as initially believed. He was limited in practice on Friday and will be a gameday decision as to whether he will play or not. If he cannot, rookie O'Brien Schofield will start.

Running back and kick returner LaRod Stephens-Howling sat out Friday's practice with his hamstring injury and is doubtful for the game against Dallas.

Derek Anderson will dress for tomorrow's game, but Ken Whisenhunt has not decided whether he will be the backup or emergency quarterback. One would have to lean towards being the backup, as Richard Bartel has only been with the team for a couple of weeks.
