It had to have been expected, but resident team opine-r Darnell Dockett has tweeted his opinion on the Derek Anderson/Kent Somers Monday Night Football feud:

He followed up his fightin' words with an explanation for Anderson's mindset:

I don't think there is a Guy on my team wants to lose! We all work hard as hell every day to win and! F*ck anybody else who thinks diffrent!
That can't make things easier for Somers, the team's beat writer for the Arizona Republic, who appears to be unintentionally making enemies among the Cards' core players.
↵I'm sure Somers has become way more of an internet celebrity than he intended to be and really didn't mean to call out Anderson; he was just expressing the opinion of many Cardinals fans and giving Anderson an opportunity to clear the air. Anderson could have defused the whole thing with a simple explanation to Somers like, "Deuce was just trying to cheer me up after such a terrible day."
↵Nonetheless, Dockett has taken the exchange and run with it. The wedge between the media and the players already existed, but the internet age has given everyone a chance to irrationally amplify it.
