Against a team that hasn’t thrown the ball for 300 yards once the entire season, the Cardinals secondary has already given up 267 passing yards to Matt Hasselbeck and the Seattle Seahawks.
Really, the Cardinals are lucky to only be down 17-10. That comes in part to a Pete Carroll decision to go for it on fourth and short instead of taking the field goal. Hasselbeck seemed to have tripped himself and fell short of the first down.
Derek Anderson has done his part, going 10-for-16 for 162 yard. He has no touchdowns but he’s not turned the ball over either.
The Cardinals can certainly come back and win this must-win game but they are going to have to get better play from the defensive backs.
