In a somewhat surprising move, both running back Beanie Wells and defensive tackle Darnell Dockett were placed on the inactive list for today’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
This is the first game Dockett has missed in his seven-year career. Alan Branch will be starting in his place. Coincidentally, Branch had his breakout two-sack game against the Seahawks in Seattle a few weeks back.
Also inactive: WR Max Komar, CB A.J. Jefferson, S Hamza Abdullah, OLB Cyril Obiozor, C Ben Claxton and QB John Skelton.
