Arizona Cardinals Defense Stuffs Tampa Bay Buccaneer's In 1st Quarter

The Arizona Cardinals opened the game with a nice 14-yard rush by Beanie Wells but then for some reason head coach Ken Whisenhunt called for a pass on third and two that Wells bobbled. Fortunately, the Cardinals defense has been solid and not allowed a single first down for the Tampa Bay Buccaneer offence.

The Cardinals put together a strong 9-play, 61-yard scoring drive that ended with Max Hall's first offensive touchdown in 26 possessions. Hall found Larry Fitzgerald in the back of the end zone for Larry's first touchdown of the month.

On the very next possession, Hall was picked off by Geno Hayes who returned the interception for a touchdown.

The Cardinals control the game with a 79 to 12 advantage in total yards but are tied where it matters most thanks to the turnover.
