Poll: Would The Cardinals Be Better Off With Matt Leinart?

New, 6 comments

Three and a half games into the Derek Anderson experiment, Ken Whisenhunt was forced to pull the plug and hand the ball to the great white hope, Max Hall.

Turns out even he couldn't perform miracles and orchestrate a come back from a 28-7 halftime deficit. In fact, he couldn't do much of anything, either, which just goes to show this is, in fact, a team game and a team's problems.

That kind of reminds me of what Matt Leinart said after the Cardinals' offense was ineffective in the first preseason game and he was taking heat for his check-downs.

Poor protection from the offensive line. Horrific defense putting the team in big holes. And play-calling straight from the we-have-hall-of-fame-Kurt-Warner-and-haven't-adjusted-to-him-being-gone-yet book.

That's all fine and dandy. The question for today is right out of the "Monday Morning Quarterback's Guide To Second Guessing" because it's never too early to look back and point the finger.
