Between the Fiesta Bowl at University of Phoenix Stadium on Thursday and both Arizona and Arizona State winning their bowl games, it has been a good bowl season in Arizona. There are still, however, a few games to play before the 2012 college football season comes to a close.
The final four bowl games begin Friday night with the Cotton Bowl between No. 9 Texas A&M and No. 11 Oklahoma. The Cotton Bowl will be the first game for Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel since he won the Heisman Trophy. It is also expected to be one of the best atmospheres of bowl season as Oklahoma and Texas A&M fans are expected to pack Cowboys Stadium. The weekend will wrap up with two lesser matchups as Pittsburgh faces Mississippi in the Compass Bowl and Kent State and Arkansas State play in the GoDaddy.com Bowl.
The season will then come to an end with the BCS National Championship game between No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 2 Alabama on Monday. Monday's national championship game is scheduled to kickoff at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN.
