The San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens are both in comfortable positions headed into Super Bowl XLVII. The 49ers are favored for their third playoff game in a row, while the Ravens are underdogs for their third-straight game. San Francisco opened as five-point favorites, but the line has since come down to 3.5 points at most sportsbooks.

Both teams have covered the spread in all of their playoff games. The Ravens covered as 7.5-point favorites over the Colts in the Wild Card round and won outright as large underdogs to both the Broncos and Patriots. The 49ers covered as three-point favorites against the Packers and barely covered as 3.5 point favorites in a 28-24 win over the Falcons.
In the regular season, San Francisco fared better against the spread than Baltimore. The Niners compiled a 9-7 record against the spread as compared to the Ravens 6-9-1 record.
The over/under for the game opened at 49, but has since dropped to between 47 and 47.5 points. Statistically the two offenses match up very well. The Ravens finished the season 10th in scoring offense and the Niners finished 11th, just one point behind Baltimore.
