ASU vs. Utah: Game time, TV schedule and preview

The Sun Devils look to kick off Pac-12 play with a bang against Utah.

Rick Scuteri-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona St. Sun Devils cruised through a weak non-conference schedule during the first two months of the season. Armed with freshman point guard Jahii Carson, a sharp-shooting wing in Carrick Felix and an imposing big man in Jordan Bachynski, ASU has the talent to finish somewhere in the middle of the Pac-12. They've begun the year with an 11-2 record, which was needed after a rocky 2011-12 campaign.

On Wednesday night, conference play will begin for the Devils as the Utah Utes come to Tempe. The Utes were one of college basketball's worst teams last season, although they've made strides this time around. Utah enters with a record of 8-4, but they've dropped two of their last four games. Their best win is a 21-point shellacking of Boise State in early December.

Jarred DuBois and Jordan Loveridge are the two Utes averaging double-digit points, with around 13 per night. As a team, Utah hits about 47 percent of their attempts from the field, makes 75 percent from the free-throw line and hits 37 percent of its three-pointers.
