NFL Week 1 Seahawks Vs. Cardinals: Beanie Wells Listed As Questionable, Says He'll Play

Beanie Wells was a late addition to the injury report Friday with a questionable tag, but the Arizona Cardinals running back still expects to play through his hamstring injury, according to the Arizona Republic's Kent Somers.

This injury comes at a terrible time, as Wells seemed to just be getting over a knee injury that plagued him throughout the preseason.

Wells appeared as questionable on the injury report twice last season with hamstring injuries, but still carried the ball 47 times for 198 yards and four touchdowns in those contests, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Regardless, with this news, fans can expect second-year running back Ryan Williams to receive a slight uptick in carries in his NFL regular season debut. Williams is coming off knee surgery himself but he appears to be the Cardinals' healthiest back for when they take on the Seattle Seahawks at home on Sunday.
