NFL Odds Week 1: Cardinals Vs. Seahawks

The Arizona Cardinals are listed as 3-point favorites for their Week 1 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, according to OddsShark. The line opened with Pete Carroll's Seahawks favored by a point, but has since shifted. The over/under for the game is set at 40.5.

The Seahawks will begin the 2012 season with rookie signal-caller Russell Wilson under center. The team signed Matt Flynn to a three-year deal this offseason and expected him to battle Tavaris Jackson for the starting job, but the emergence of Wilson has relegated Flynn to a backup role for now.

The Cardinals had a bit of a quarterback controversy of their own, as they were the last team to make an announcement on their starting quarterback for the season opener. John Skelton had a rough preseason, completing 50 percent of his passes, but he nudged out Kevin Kolb for the starting job.

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch could miss Sunday's game with back spasms, which would be a huge blow to a team who led all NFL teams in rushing yards during the preseason.
