2012 U.S. Open: Schedule, TV Coverage, Streaming And More

Wednesday will be a very busy day at the 2012 U.S. Open. Not only are there the previously scheduled quarterfinal matches set to be played, but also a couple of crucial matches that were postponed due to rain on Tuesday night. Here is the schedule of what we can expect for Wednesday, Sept. 5.

At Arthur Ashe Stadium at 11 a.m. ET, No. 3 Maria Sharapova and No. 11 Marion Bartoli will resume play. Bartoli currently leads the first set 4-0. After this match will be Andy Roddick vs. Juan Martin Del Potro. These two are currently tied 6-6 in the first set. Once this match ends, No. 3 Andy Murray will take on No. 12 Marin Cilic.

Over at Louis Armstrong Stadium, No. 10 Sara Errani will take on No. 20 Roberta Vinci at 11 a.m. This match will be followed by Novak Djokovic and Stanislas Wawrinka. Djokovic currently leads 2-0 in the first set.

In primetime action at Arthur Ashe Stadium, No. 4 Serena Williams will take on No. 12 Ana Ivanovic at 7 p.m. At the same time, top-seeded Roger Federer will take on No. 6 Tomas Berdych.

All of these matches will be played weather permitting. Storms are expected in the area, but hopefully there is a long enough window to get all of the games in.

Wednesday's complete schedule can be found at the official U.S. Open site, and live men's and women's scoreboards are available from Sports Illustrated.
