FedEx Cup Rankings: Rory McIlroy Claims The Top Spot, Phil Mickelson Jumps To No. 9

After a dramatic come-from-behind victory at the Deutsche Bank Championship on Monday, Rory McIlroy has claimed the No. 1 spot in the FedEx Cup standings. His leap to the top spot pushes Nick Watney, who finished the weekend tournament tied for 20th, to No. 2 in the postseason rankings.

Tiger Woods hung on to his No. 3 spot, as he became the first PGA Tour golfer in history to reach $100 million in career winnings with his third-place finish over the holiday weekend.

Arizona State alumnus Phil Mickelson moved up eight spots to No. 9 after tying for fourth place at the Deutsche Bank with Dustin Johnson, and former Arizona Wildcat Jim Furyk finds himself at No. 21, up four spots from last week's rankings.

The PGA Tour moves to Indiana this weekend, as The BMW Championship Tournament tees off Thursday morning at Crooked Stick in Carmel. England's Justin Rose (No. 22) is the defending champion.
