Brandt Snedeker and Justin Rose have moved into the lead after three rounds at the 2012 Tour Championship, with Snedeker having the day's best round at 6-under.
Both men are 8-under overall. Ryan Moore is in third after a strong day. He shot a 65 to climb eight places up the leaderboard. Jim Furyk is just behind him. After opening the day in first, a triple bogey on hole No. 17 sent Furyk down to a tie for fifth. Rory McIlroy and Bubba Watson are there with him, all at 5-under.
Tiger Woods had a better day than he did on Friday, going 3-under for the round and ending tied for seventh at 4-under overall. ASU grad Phil Mickelson struggled for the second day in a row, falling four places down the leaderboard to a tie for 20th. He went 2-over for Round 3 and is 2-over in total.
