Tour Championship 2012: Jim Furky Holds On To Lead, Tiger Woods Back In Top 10

Round 3 of the 2012 Tour Championship is unfolding, and as it does Jim Furyk is doing just enough to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard. He's at par through six, sticking at 7-under overall and in first place. Ryan Moore, Bubba Watson and Justin Rose are all tied at 6-under just behind Furyk, and Moore has a ton of momentum behind him. He has five birdies, including four straight on hole Nos. 7 through 10. He's through 10 and on pace to have the best round of the day.

Tiger Woods is doing better on Saturday than he did on Friday. After a score of 73 pushed him out of the top 10, he's gone 1-under through 11 into climb to a tie for eighth. Rory McIlroy is part of that tie, sliding down a place after going 1-over through eight. Former ASU Sun Devil Phil Mickelson opened the day with a double bogey and has yet to recover. A pair of birdies and a pair of bogeys have him at 2-over through 14 and 2-over overall, leaving him tied for 22nd.
