Rondae Jefferson To Arizona: Wildcats Commit Discusses Decision

Rondae Jefferson becomes the second big time commitment in this recruiting cycle for Sean Miller and the Arizona Wildcats. Here is the interview between Jefferson and Point Guard U discussing his decision, where he talks about his ability to fit in as all the perks of playing in Tucson.

"I want to win," Jefferson said. "Everything I do is to help my team win, and I really think Arizona is a place where we can win a national championship."

Jefferson was impressed by all the usual selling points of the Arizona program: winning history, NBA tradition, national exposure, outstanding facilities, and the coaching staff. And Jefferson was equally impressed by the players on the team.

"I got to meet the guys on the team," said Jefferson. "Arizona is really talented, and I think I could bring a lot to that roster. I like to make plays for my teammates, so I love playing with talented players."

Here are the highlights of Jefferson in action.

Jefferson has a really impressive handle that allows him to do excellent things one-on-one with the dribble, controlling the ball and getting moving ahead. You can tell he possesses elite athleticism and an excellent wingspan that provides him with excellent versatility. He also seems to be able to finish efficiently at the rim and has a good idea of where to go without the basketball. All of those things should help him succeed in Sean Miller's offense.

Now that Arizona has a solid shooting guard in Elliott Pitts and an elite wing like Rondae Jefferson, Arizona can now start looking toward filling up their class with quality big man and strong guard talent.
