2012 NFL Points Against The Spread: Can Packers Rebound On Thursday Night?

Thursday is here and so is the inauguration of Week 2 in the NFL. Last week on Wednesday the Dallas Cowboys shocked the football world by knocking off the world champion New York Giants. This week, the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears square off in a divisional battle highlighted by the two quarterbacks in Jay Cutler and Aaron Rodgers.

Who will come through victorious and who will cover the spread?

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-6.5): Aaron Rodgers and company will strive to avoid an 0-2 start to the season, and at that, avoid starting the season 0-2 at home. Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall and company will be a formidable task. In fact, as a secondary wager for the night, you should definitely take the over. However, back to the actual game, despite the offensive talent that Chicago has at its disposal, in the end it is a bounce back home game for the Pack. Pick: Packers, -6.5
