Arizona Kicker John Bonano Named Pac-12 Special Teams Player Of The Week

Arizona Wildcats kicker John Bonano was named the special teams Pac-12 player of the week for Week 2, earning the award for his contributions to Arizona's 59-38 upset victory over then-No. 18 Oklahoma State.

Bonano, a senior from Salinas, Calif., contributed 15 points to the effort, including field goals from 22, 24 and 46 yards. He hit all six of his PAT attempts, and his kickoffs helped the Wildcats win the battle for field position. Four of his 11 kick offs went for touchbacks, and Oklahoma State's average starting position was their own 24 yard-line. Bonano has never missed an extra point attempt and has a career 66.7 percent field goal percentage.

Arizona is now 2-0 in the 2012 season. They'll look to keep the momentum going as they host the South Carolina State Bulldogs in Week 3.
