Former Arizona Wildcat Reportedly Joins Arizona Cardinals Practice Squad

The Arizona Cardinals, along with the rest of the NFL, were able to start forming their eight-man practice squads on Saturday. After bringing back defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin, who was among final cuts on Friday and was on the team's practice squad in 2011, another defensive player was reportedly added to the mix.

According to tweet from Adam Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Cardinals have added former Arizona Wildcat Ricky Elmore to their practice squad.

Elmore was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2011 in the sixth round, the 197th player overall.

He did not make the active roster in 2011 and was with the San Diego Chargers this preseason. As a member of the Arizona Wildcats, he collected 25.5 sacks over three seasons.

Elmore is 6-4, 256 pounds. Arizona will try to develop him as an outside linebacker.
