Arizona Basketball Recruiting: Aaron Gordon Sets In-Home Visit, Official Trip To Tucson

Aaron Gordon is arguably the best prospect on the west coast for the class of 2013. A 6'8 forward with incredible athleticism and touch around the basket, Gordon received scholarship offers to just about every big-name program in the country this past year.

Arizona and Washington have long been the favorites in his recruitment. Despite having these two programs at the top, Gordon has begun taking visits to various Pac-12 schools, including California and Colorado.

As the five-star forward continues to evaluate his options, he has set up an in-home visit with Sean Miller and an official visit to Tucson for the annual Red-Blue Game.

Here is the latest from Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star:

Sean Miller will have an in-home visit with Top 10 forward Aaron Gordon on Sept. 10, according to Gordon's high school coach.

Tim Kennedy, the coach at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, Calif., said Gordon also plans to return to Arizona for an official visit around the Oct. 21 Red-Blue Game.

Elliott Pitts has been the lone 2013 commit for the Wildcats thus far, although coach Miller is very involved with many of the nation's elite prospects. Five-star wing Rondae Jefferson recently visited campus, while the 'Cats remain interested in five-star guards Keith Frazier and James Young.
