Deutsche Bank Leaderboard: Seung-Yul Noh Drives Ahead; Leaves Mickelson In the Dust

Phil Mickelson had a decent opening day at the Deutsche Bank Championship, shooting 3-under to be tied for 17th place overall.

Unfortunately for Mickelson, his struggles to get back into the top may continue for a bit as Seung-Yul Noh came blazing out to take the top spot on the leaderboard at 9-under on the day.

Chris Kirk sits in second place, one stroke behind Noh. Tiger Woods, Jeff Overton and Ryan Moore are tied for third at 7-under on the day.

Scottsdale resident Bryce Molder has some good company as he sits tied for sixth place with PGA Champion Rory McIlroy. The two golfers are at 6-under after the opening round action.

Arizona Wildcats alum Jim Furyk shot 2-under on the day.

Full leaderboard can be found here.
